Bill Scott served as the Eldon Depot Committee treasurer until his untimely death in 2006. He worked as an engineer for the Rock Island Line until the railroad discontinued its operations. Bill and his son painted our caboose. Much of the restoration work done on the caboose was accomplished through Bill's dedication and enthusiasm.

We have been saddened by his passing, and he is greatly missed.
